1992 Holden (HSV) VP GTS

OK it's technically not a GTS but it is based on the GTS and its model code is indeed GTS - Spotted this very interesting example of the GTS which was advertised on Graysonline in early 2021. The car breaks from the standard GTS colours which got me a bit confused - it's finished in a purply/blue grey which wasnt originally a GTS option. So the advertisement for this one noted the following, taken from Grays.com:

Here`s one for the HSV fans who like them rare, 1 of 5 Special build Collectors Series. Built for the HSV Executive Team program. Internal management were able to build a car to specs they wanted, these cars were never built for the public or dealers.This is certainly a very unique vehicle with an interesting options list and start life as a GTS.Feature List include: 200KW GTS Engine Upgrade, HSV GTS Suspension, Unique HSV Senator Body Kit, Full HSV Leather Interior, Momo Steering Wheel, Calais Instruments

We never even knew about these cars, so it's an interesting find. With 4 days to run and bids at 25K we're sure its going to bring much more in the days ahead. A nice once to have on the register..
