Forget the G-Wagen, if you're looking for the ultimate SWB 4X4 the Pajero SWB is one of the best, and certainly the best when it comes to performance variants. With an unbeaten Dakar Rally history, the ultimate version of the Pajeroi, the Evolution, is a very special homologation car, and now a true collectors item. This example has been imported to Australia and is one of approximately 2,500 homologated specials made for the Dakar rally. With an asking price of 68K, these have certainly increased in value by around 400% in the last 5 years, but you just can't find them now. Very cool cars.... You would feel a bit guilty taking it off road though..
