1989 Saab 900 Aero Turbo 16

This 900 Aero was spotted advertised in Hillcrest South Australia in February 2021 on gumtree.com.au, asking $27,000 AUD at the time. Very lkow Ks at 138,000 - hard to find examples with such low Ks now. Looks solid and original, and prices recently have been on the up.. years ago you could get one for under $15k!. At the time of sale, the seller noted:

This highly collectable 1989 SAAB Turbo "Aero" is in excellent condition, is totally original and the interior, exterior and mechanics are near perfect for its low 138,000 kms. It has been owned by 3 mature age people who have carefully maintained and driven it. This Aero is an automatic and has not been thrashed through the gears like many manual owners do, and the engine is powerful and the gearbox changes are smooth. First delivered in Adelaide in 1989, the owners had it serviced 9 times over 49400 kms until 12/94. The owners moved to Bendigo where it was serviced 12 times up to 132,200 kms until 8/08. It was then dry stored until 2/19 when the 2nd owner bought it, and as you can see from the photos he had Allsaab Automotive undergo a major service which has certainly raised the bar. I bought the car in 6/20 and have had a new brake master cylinder added, and the A/C has been serviced with a new TX valve, plus a service from qualified SAAB mechanics. The wheels have been refurbished, a new roof lining and sun roof panel, the original Alpine Surround System was repaired and installed. In a nut shell a beautiful car in excellent condition, and everything works well.
