This is the first 206 GTI on Classic Register. I've loved these French hot hatches since they were new, but more so in the later form (the GTI 180 - which this car is). The 180 was up in power significantly from the first GTI series 206, and had a number of styling improvements to make it look very much like its earlier incarnation, the 205 GTI - which was essentially a roller skate. The 17 inch wheels do the trick with this.. Interestingly these hot hatches have not held their value well. Unsure as to whether this is down to a slight oversupply in a smaller peugeot ejnthusiast market, or whether it's something to do with these cars that people don't like (I personally don't know much about them, their reliability etc). This onw was asking just $4,800 in Feb 2021 on Facebook marketplace.
