1974 Mitsubishi Galant Gen 1 GTO Hardtop Coupe

Another little NZ GTO, this one spotted on trademe.co.nz in June 2021. Trademe NZ has some great cars on there, and it's one of my favourite places to browse, particularly when it comes to Japanese imports and rare items like this GTO. The seller at the time of offering noted the following comments about this car:

"Recent restoration finish only 8 months ago, everything that needed replacing got replaced. Complete engine rebuild with only 1500 kms driven since rebuild. Head has been replaced with brand new one and all other components are original restored. Mild cam installed and bore out .50 as bore had a bit of corrosion. This car was parked up in 1998 due to head failure and I pick it out of the barn 2016. Very minor rust was found around rear window, taillights and one lower door the rest was solid. Original interior is amazing for its age everything works except heater as I have disconnected it at the valve tap in side car as over the years it rusted. To many things to mention so better to give us a call and I’ll answer any questions. Ignore the ownership details it is incorrect I am the fifth owner, I do not know why this is only two. I have the original ownership papers to prove.
