1991 Holden (HSV) VP Sport Wagon

An ultra-rare VP GTS 'Sports Wagon. This car is #8 of only 43 sports wagons produced. These cars were fitted with HSV's enhanced 5.0l powerplant. The Sports Wagons were individually numbered with a plaque on the dashboard, and an ID plate in the engine bay. This car was for sale in June 2016, on Gumtree Australia, asking $10,000 (AUD). The seller made the following comments at the time of sale:

"This HSV Sport Wagon was purchased new by my great uncle. These are rare as only 43 were made for public sale. This car received the full treatment from HSV & is based on the 5lt V8 Berlina with leather interior, cruise. It has huge Harrop brakes in the front which were an option from HSV. It is very close to original condition & hasn't been messed with as its only had the one owner who was about 55 when the car was purchased. It's done 455,000km but was used to commute between Dandenong & Traralgon so it's done hwy/country km & has been well maintained. It's been re sprayed a few years ago, paint is good but has picked up a few marks since being painted. Has recently had many new parts fitted to get it up to a roadworthy condition including new rear main seal, too much other stuff to mention but happy to show the receipts. Interior is good but has wear & tear in line with the age & kms. As per the photos all the original documents from HSV will go with the car & there are even photos of it being "built" in the HSV factory."
