Limited information about the history of the car is known - if anyone has additional information, please pass it on. At the time of sale, the seller noted the following:

"1992 VP HSV Sport Wagon No : 39 5 Litre (304 ci) V8 and auto This wagon is a genuine HSV VP sport wagon number 39 of 43 made, Five others were made not for public sale. (The Big wigs) Mechanically in excellent condition with 149.000 km on the odometer This is a collectors dream car for a Holden enthusiast or someone who likes the classic HSV. The wagon has factory rear air shock absorbers with a on-board pump so you can raise or lower the rear suspension as you drive. It has full electric's: Windows, Cruise control and a Tape deck / Radio (Factory) The Air conditioning has been service, Automatic Transmission has been rebuilt with better internals and all new tyres. The rims are genuine White Walkinshaw Five spoke (same as the VL Walkinshaw) the spare tyre is original steel rim (Never been used) The Wagon will also come with the original HSV certificate of authenticity, the owner manual and radio pin code card with the V.I.N number on it. Now the things that need looking at : The paint and the odd bump here and there. The Driver's seat, no foam damage but it needs sewing up, stitching has come away on the base. The plastic cover that goes around the gear selector has a crack, in the left front corner. Things that have been Modified or changed : Front brakes have been upgraded too VT commodore twin piston callipers. (I can put the original callipers back on with new disc's and pads) Front speakers in the dash have been replaced. (Couldn't find a genuine replacement)."

If you have a rare HSV, please add it to Classic Register. By recording the details of these early HSV cars, it will assist many people in future to track the lives of their cars.
