This example was imported from South Africa, and spotted by us offered on "Car Cave" in the UK. I hope to see this 260C being fully restored -- there are not many around and there are hardly any in the UK in particular. They seem to have sold fairly well new in South Africa - they sold very slowly in Australia - which I find surprising (but generally people were going for the Ford and Holden coupes so perhaps there was not much space left in the market for a non-v8... Love these things - the design is so refined for the time - particularly the way the bumpers were integrated. The Japanese in the 70s spent a lot of money employing European designers to make their cars look the best, and it really worked.. Lightyears ahead of some od the other coupes of this era (both inside and out).
