1964 Studebaker Daytona 2 Door Hardtop
Vehicle details
Spotted on Craigslist in September 2021 - only 2 pictures included in the ad, and only asking $995 USD. At the time it was advertised the seller noted that it was formerly the personal car of the owner of the Newberg Studebaker dealership. It was a Special ordered with Avanti "Powershift" transmission, P code 289 engine, disc brakes, bucket seats, power steering, all glass factory tinting, oroginal clock and radio.
The seller in 2021 noted that they bought it from the dealer in 1969 and drove it for several years until they loaned it to their sister, and it was immediately damaged in the front end (just sheet metal). It was still running fine at the time (damage was light, no frame damage) however it was parked to be fixed but never completed. The car was offered with clean Oregon title.
What a great opportunity, just hope the rust isnt too terminal. CHeck out the others on the 64 Daytona register below.
