1980 Volkswagen Golf MK1 GTI

For sale a 1980 Mk1 Golf 1600cc GTI S1, NZ new. Uber rare collectors car in A1 condition, this has to be one of the best examples of a right hand drive early GTI in the world, it's in standard condition except for BBS RS wheels (original alloy are also included but would benefit from tyres and refurbishment) new Goodyear tires fitted, stainless steel exhaust system, sun roof delete and Alpine period head unit. It was extensively restored by previous owners International Motor Sport Auckland as a tribute to founder of the company whom had built a near exact car to race by Stirling Moss in the Benson & Hedges race series back in '70's/'80's.
