1998 Ford Fairlane NL Tickford (FBT)

It's been a while since we've spotted a Tickford FBT for sale - this one located in Vic, and at the time was asking $27,000 AUD. I feel like I'm repeating myself recently - It wasn't even 5 years ago that you could grab one easily under 15K, and I've seen some average examples under 10K..

"1998 ford NL Fairlane by Tickford is finished in navy blue metallic duco with plush cappuccino leather trim in very good order for its age. The paintwork presents very well indeed for a vehicle of this age its gleaming! First registered in 1999, build no 79 of only 106 produced this is a very rare car and highly sought after by ford collectors.

Fitted with a 5.0 litre v8 coupled to a 4 speed automatic transmission and travelled a low 162,775 km from new with full documented service history with original owners handbooks etc and a library of receipts. This vehicle is in outstanding condition and i must say it drives like a dream with its super strong engine and smooth transmission. EL Falcon GT.

This lovely and rare Fairlane was produced in only two colours, 58 in regency red and 48 in navy blue and each vehicle was fitted with it's own Tickford build plate under the bonnet this particular car being FBT  build number 079.

Additional features of the FBT Fairlane are GT40P cylinder heads, roller rockers, upgraded intake manifold, sports automatic transmission with adaptive shift, ceramic coated EL GT exhaust extractors, mesh grille, Tickford exterior badging, factory premium sound system with cd stacker, two tone leather interior, momo woodgrain and leather steering wheel, larger 330mm brake rotors and 17 inch 6 spoke alloy wheels."
