1988 Nissan Skyline R31 Silhouette GTS1 (SVD)

This GTS1 was found on Gumtree in June 2016, and despite looking like a GTS2, is a GTS1 SVD genuine vehicle.  The car was asking $4,800 (AUD) at the time of sale).

This GTS1 was found advertised on Gumtree Australia in June 2016, and at the time was asking $8,990 (AUD), located in Aouth Australia. For those that don't know these cars, this is an Australian special edition Nissan Skyline R31, known as the GTS1 Silhouette. All the GTS1 cars were painted white. Some of the visually distinguishing features of the car included 16" white powder coated 11 spoke wheels, rear spoiler, unique SVD / Silhouette decals and sports cloth interior - along with the unique badging. The cars were fitted with a turbocharged RB30 engine and stage 1 camshaft, producing 130kw, and were only available in manual transmission. Extractors, and 2.25" exhaust and an LSD were also fitted standard.

At the time of sale, the seller made the following comments:

 This is an original SVD GTS1, Build No. 59 of 200, which has been modified with GTS2 front and rear end conversions, including headlights, taillights, bumpers, bonnet, guards and grille. It has the original powerful 3.0 litre 6 cylinder engine with 5 speed manual gearbox. It has been regularly serviced and maintained and is in a good condition. It has new 16x7 Performance mag wheels with new 225/50R16 tyres. Included is a Clarion touch screen, double din audio head unit with upgraded Pioneer speakers and amps. Cyclops Central locking and Alarm system. Rare car that would suit Nissan enthusiast.
