Very rare, this is an Australian delivered example of the 240C (called the 260C in South Africa where it was fitted with a 2.6 apparently). I love this body style - mustang like tail lights and nicely integrated bumpers. One of the best looking luxury Japanese coupes of the time. We saw this one advertised for sale probably 3-4 years ago, asking about $13,000 - quiclly snapped up and up for sale now at $25,000.. Fair enough too.

At the time of sale, the seller noted: "Listing my 1972 240C pillarless coupe for sale. Quite a tidy car, does need a few repairs. Some tears in front seats. Engine valve stem seals need replacement. Air conditioning disconnected. Organising a new windscreen atm which will be installed prior to sale. Drives really nicely. Only selling to fund a new toy. Car is insured with Shannon's for $25k agreed value." See the original ad here.
