1996 Volvo 850 R Sedan

Another 850R Turbo imported to Australia - these are more prevalent than ever on Australian roads (which is a great thing). This example was offered on Grays auctions in May 2021 - bids just over 5K, reserve not yet met, and a couple of days to run on the auction at the time of writing. 

We've got one other 850 R Sedan in black on the register (but it's the earlier T5-R from 1995). This is the first black 96 model. Looks in reasonable condition for the km at over 230,000.. A lot of these come in from the Japanese market, and we've seen a few wagons come in recently asking between $20 and 30K AUD. Sedans tend to draw a bit less money, but most sit in the high teens.

These are a relatively rare car and a great enthusiast car of the 90s.. Although if I had to buy one, I'd want the wagon :).
