1964 Studebaker Daytona 2 Door Hardtop
Vehicle details
This is a rare 4-speed manual example of the 64 Daytona, also factory fitted with front disc brakes. A great colour combination in Midnight black paint with red trim, and has a bunch of other interesting options including heavy duty springs.
This one was advertised on Craigslist USA, located in Dunlap, Tennessee at the time, and was asking $16,500 USD. In the original advertisement, the seller made the following comments:
"This is a Canadian assembled car with a unique vin # (64vc2001). The c means it was assembled at the Hamilton plant and delivered to vVncouver, BC.
If you notice, it had some thoughtful specs ordered. It is a 289 with a new edelbrock carb which should put out about 225 hp. It has the old reliable t10 four speed and is so specified on the firewall tag. Power steering and front disc brakes make is a very driveable car. the factory suspension is augmented with air shocks on the rear. It runs like a scared rabbit and handles very well for this era car. the paint is fair to good and very presentable. an above average driver of which to be proud.
