An original Australian Clubman GT, which found its way to the USA, sold through BAT Auctions, and its new owner is believed to be in Guam! There were only around 1200 of the Australian GTs produced, and according to historical records, one car was originally delivered to the USA - believed to be another car, not this one.

This GT sold for $15,000 USD in 2015, a good price, and one which reflects the excellent condition of the car. According to the Identification guide created on Classic Register for the Clubman GT, the 1206 engine prefix. means this engine is a sort that had a solid rear engine block wall, with no separable pushrod covers. These engines are believed to have tuftrided cranks, and were put in GT's in late 1972 onward - hence consistent and original to this car.

If you know of a GT or have one yourself, please place it on the register so we can keep track of the cars still out there!
