1981 Ford Fairmont Ghia XD Sedan (ESP Option)

This rare XD ESP was spotted for sale on Gumtree Australia in October 2016. This is one of only a few on Classic Register, from what is a very rare and now desirable batch of cars. At the time of offering, the seller was asking $29,990 (AUD). Not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive, seeing as we have seen one asking over 50K in the same week. At the time of sale, the seller noted that the car had been converted to LPG recently.

There were believed to be only 1,500 of these XDs produced by Ford (at most), which was followed by the XE ESP, which was built in even lower numbers. If you own one, please add it to the register so we can preserve the details of these rare cars for the future.
