This GTS1 was found advertised on Gumtree Australia in January 2017, and at the time was asking $4,000 (AUD), located in Newcastle. This is a fairly low price to ask, however, the car has some fairly bad rust in the A-pillars, and elsewhere as the seller noted at the time.

For those that don't know these cars, this is an Australian special edition Nissan Skyline R31, known as the GTS1 Silhouette. All the GTS1 cars were painted white. Some of the visually distinguishing features of the car included 16" white powder coated 11 spoke wheels, rear spoiler, unique SVD / Silhouette decals and sports cloth interior - along with the unique badging. The cars were fitted with a turbocharged RB30 engine and stage 1 camshaft, producing 130kw, and were only available in manual transmission. Extractors, and 2.25" exhaust and an LSD were also fitted standard.

At the time of advertising, the seller made the following comments:

"On offer is my gts1 no. 029. Genuine and unmolested, numbers matching second owner car. Regretful sale as has rust in the usual places and I havent the room or time to fix it. Too many projects. Prefer to sell to someone that knows how rare these are and is prepared to restore her.

Selling as is where is. No plates,No RWC.

Details.
Svd 029.
Never turboed or crashed.
Odo stopped working at 219000, but im sure it has about 250000 max as it was my sunday drive car only. Has been in storage unreg since 23/02/15. Went to put another left gaurd on it and found the rust in the plenum. Removed right gaurd also. See photos. Centre section of plenum ok, tho the seam on firewall has started to rust. Left hand c pillar has rust starting at top and at the bottom corner of rear window. See photos. Left and right front gaurds both need attention at the bottom. Needs a new boot lid from the usual spoiler holes rusting. Sills, doors and boot wells are good.
Interior is good for age, with the outer drivers seat squab just starting to wear on the seam. Foam on same has started to collapse.
Tops of all door trims need the usual retrim. Havent taken off the steering wheel cover yet so unknown but should be ok. Aircon works, but foam on ducting has rotted, so all that gets cold is the passengers right foot. Left A pillar trim cracked at bottom. Have the piece. Horn pad, OE radio/cassette and 1 rear headphone volume knob missing. Foam centre console lid split. Carpet has been wet because of plenum.
Mechanically good for age. Motors fine. Gearbox good but does have a lazy synchro on fifth. Gives a tiny snick going in. Lsd is good and doesnt whine, tho it does seem to have more backlash than in should. Rather put up with the backlash, so ive not had it looked at. Struts are ok, tho front left was starting to bottom out occasionally. Mags and centre caps all good. Oe 15inch spare, hardly used. Tyres are Continentals all round. 95% front, 90% rear.
Has towbar, but i have no idea where the tongue and ball are.
Has had new caliper kits through all for corners, and handbrake cables soaked and freed up. 0 klms.
Reco power steer rack. 0 klms.
Was ready for blueslip til i found the rust.

Non OE.
Missing hornpad, radio, rear spoiler is fibreglass, external mirrors are cast alloy foldbacks from a Passage. Will try and find originals."
