This FBT was advertised back in 2006 on Fordmods.com - asking at the time $7,500. A good price, but it had some serious rust issues to contend with, and the seller noted that it needed an engine rebuild. Unfortunately, there is a chance that this one was parted out. This is number 075 of 106 built - would really appreciate it if anyone with knowledge of the car's fate or current whereabouts could fill us in by commenting below, or contacting us. Also, we only have the build number of this car, not the full chassis number - any knowledge of the complete chassis number would be great so we can add it to the register!

At the time of sale, the seller (Scott of Perth, WA) made the following comments:

- Fairlane By Tickford NL 1998, build number 75 of 106
- 219xxx Ks on the clock
- Paint job is in great condition
- Interior in great condition also
- Tyres: Dunlop all 4 have 90%+ tread
- Premo Sound system complete apart from the cd stacker
- Has a new radiator put in less that 300 km ago
- The gearbox and diff are in excellent condition

Things That are wrong with the car:
- Unfortunately there is a problem with the engine, when it warms up it has get low oil pressure. I've had it checked out by the local mechanic and it seems to be the low end bearings are warn, but i haven't looked into the problem very much because i don't have the time. I was going to re-build the engine to replace them but i have run out of money.
- Has a small tear in driver's seat about 5cm
- Needs new tint and probably and air con needs a re-gas
- There is rust underneath the front doors in the side skirt (pics below)
- Small amount of rust in the boot (just found)
- Small rust starting on bottom of passenger door (just found)
- I bought the Fairlane about 6 months ago as a project car, but saving money to do her up is taking too long. So I have decided to sell it. It has only been driven twice since i bought it, but i start it regularly and is kept with car cover on.
