In 1991, this was the fastest production pickup available, and it's the first we've added to Classic Register. The 4.3l turbocharged 6-cylinder engine would take you from 0 - 60mph in just 5.3 seconds, with power delivered through a Borg-Warner all wheel drive system, and GM's 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission. Only 2,995 Syclones were ever built, and with such a convincing performance package there is plenty of collector interest.

This example is offered on Ebay USA. The seller suggests that this particular truck is number 92 off the assembly line, according to its VIN. It's believed to be mostly stock, with a few small changes including the powder coated wheels and CD player. Overall, it appears in very good condition, particularly considering its age, with some minor blemishes such as a small dashboard crack. The seller confirms that the ABS has been unplugged, but this is the only problem with the truck they are aware of.

Currently asking $16,900 (USD), with a few days left to run, it will be interesting to see whether this car attracts a few bids. If you have a GMC Syclone, please add the details of your car to the Register so we can keep track of these rare pickups in future. Follow us on Facebook for more interesting cars found for sale around the world, and sign-up to our weekly newsletter to receive our best picks!
