This one's been verified as a genuine GT500, with the relevant Marti report to prove it, and is also listed on the Shelby Registry. The car was originally Acapulco blue, but the second owner had this car repainted black. Looks nice, but we'd still want to take it back to original spec. The original 428 PI has been replaced at some point with a 428 CJ - so unfortunately this means that it's not a full matching numbers car, but the current price is quite reflective of this.

The Seller had the car since 1982, and had the motor meticulously rebuilt & the complete front suspension replaced with NOS Ford parts & has only put 2000 miles on it since. It was originally an auto, but converted to a 4 speed & added the factory Ford dual quad set up. The numbers matching C6 transmission is included in the sale.

See it here on Ebay USA with bids at $61,800 (USD), with 3 days to run. Follow us on Facebook for more interesting cars found for sale around the world, and sign-up to our weekly newsletter to receive our best picks!
