A very rare Brock B8 Falcon offered in February 2017 on Gumtree Australia. This car was asking $12,500, located down in Hobart, TAS. This Peter Brock modified Ford Falcon S is an early build car, number 17 of a suggested 126 built vehicles. This is a one owner vehicle prior to the current owner and has travelled around 155,000 kilometres.

A major mechanical restoration has been undertaken by the seller with minor interior and exterior cosmetic work also completed, as described below: 

The car has the original engine with a reconditioned cylinder head, new fuel injectors, distributor cap, rotor, plugs, high tension leads, fuel pressure regulator and fuel filter, coil, oil temperature switch, air and oil filters and fresh oil. The radiator has been replaced: radiator cap, hoses, belts, water pump, idler pulleys, thermostat and housing. The steering tie rod ends, power steering pump and rubber hoses, steering rack and boots have all been replaced or refurbished. The front and rear shock absorbers have been replaced with original specified Monroe Gas, front and rear coil spring pads and insulators, front and rear sway bar link bushes and mounting bushes, shock absorber bushes and rear upper and lower trailing arm bushes. All suspension components replaced as per original “Brock” specification in rubber or urethane. Front rotors are grooved and drilled DBA “Gold” rotors, replaced and re-packed front wheel bearings, flushed brake system and replaced brake fluid.

The body has been repaired and painted fibreglass front and rear bumper bar air dams and side skirts. Repainted rear garnish panel. Remaining paintwork is original. Vehicle is fitted with a Pioneer radio/CD player, factory towbar, weather shield, electric aerial, rear window louvres and bonnet guard. Original Brock specified components are intact including interior upgrade, body enhancements, CSA alloy wheels, original engine (all numbers match) and suspension modifications. Replaced and reused mechanical components painted including underbody floor.

Car will be supplied with owner’s manual, purchase documentation and letter of authenticity. Compliance plates (including Austech and Brock plates) and badge work intact.
