1948 Pontiac Streamliner Coupe

The example was treated to a restoration some 25 – 30 years ago, where it underwent a engine and transmission rebuild, and exterior repaint in the original colour, having rarely been driven since the car remained in a climate controlled garaged for some 19 years by its previous owner. The car remains in wonderful condition. Some would say a time capsule car… It has most of its rare original accessories including:

The car has its original flat head straight 8 engine that runs very well, unchanged it still has the original 6 volt electrics and this car features the original 4 speed automatic trans...yes 4 speed!
(this was the first year GM offered this!).

Even the wood grain Dash and window surrounds look great and the original chrome still shines bright

This car was for sale in early March 2017 for $45,000 AUD
