1972 Ford Falcon GT XY GT

This is one of the 1585 units of the GT fairmont produced in Australia and shipped to the South African market. This is the little known brother of the famous Ford phase III GTHO falcon produced in even smaller numbers that has become famous around the world. This car is fully restored with original OEM parts and is a genuine matching numbers car. This car is actually well suited to the 3 speed automatic it is paired with as it is more of a traditional cruiser when compared to the GTHO. This car is running Ford's 351 block and has recently been rebuild (22,000kms on the new rebuilt motor). This car was for sale at the end of March 2017 for $90,000 AUD.
