1971 Mitsubishi Galant Gen 1 GTO Hardtop Coupe

A very rare opportunity just found on trademe.co.nz - this Galant GTO was recently imported, but needs quite a bit of restoration work. The car is believed to have been first registered in Japan in November 1971, and was last registered in March 1978 which indicates it has been off the road for almost 40 years. It has also only covered 40,000km which also appears genuine. It represents a perfect starting point for a full restoration with only a few rust holes. The engine is turning over freely but it doesn't run.

NZ received the A57 model, but not these more desirable A53s. All of the the necessary documentation for NZ compliance comes with the car, and any parts you see missing are in boxes, and will come with the car
