This 1500cc TX3 is one of the earlier KX TX3s, being the non-turbo 2wd variety. This model was offered in Australia and New Zealand, in lead up to the turbo and turbo 4WD models, which were fully-imported from Japan using the Mazda drive line.

Even though this example only packs the 1.6 non-turbo EFI motor, the car looks quick with its TX3 kit and the engine's are great for their time. It would certainly make a fun cheap project. This one was advertised on trademe.co.nz in January 2018, asking $4,500 NZD.
