1977 Leyland Mini S Sunshine

A nice Scarlet 'O'Hara Red Mini S Sunshine. This one was advertised through Ausmini in 2009. At the time the seller made the following comments: 

Great condition body and interior - most rust has been professionally removed, no dash cracks, seats are in good condition, head lining all fine (but slightly discoloured [see photo], from nicotine i assume) only 55900kms, motor runs very well and very smoothly. 

• new CV joints 
• serviced regularly 
• monroe GT shocks 
• new radiator, thermostat and housing and other parts. 
• brake drums re-ground and new pads when i bought it (around 3 years ago) 
• mostly original (aside from old cheap cd player i have in there) 

THE BAD PARTS: 

• i removed the flares to check for rust, and never put them back on... 
• 3rd gear synchro is worn, double clutch is needed to change down from 4th to 3rd smoothly 
• drivers seat bottom has ripped
