This 1964 Studebaker Commander Special was built in Canada at the Hamilton, Ontario plant and originally sold at The Studebaker Center in Seattle, Washington. The previous owner stored the car in a climate-controlled warehouse for approximately 30 years as part of a small collection. He claimed that the car was one of 12 examples produced with the combination of a 289ci V8 engine, 4-speed manual transmission, heavy-duty suspension, Twin Traction rear end, front disc brakes, and dual exhaust system. Purchased by the seller in 2016, this two-door sedan has been fitted with an Edelbrock carburetor and was recently serviced with a new fuel pump, fuel tank, and spark plugs.
