1978 Mini 1275 GT

Numbers matching engine, reconditioned, bored 20thou 1290cc, new pistons bearings etc. Re-jetted and tuned weber dcd 28/36 (25/26) carb, performance manifold and K&N filter, also SU hif44 carb with BFY needle, manifold and performance filter. LCB exhaust manifold into straight through exhaust. Havent had head off but looks to be ported, also cam has not been out so cannot confim grind but idle is lumpy and engine ran very strong. 

12" mini lights with god quality tyres all round. New heavy duty adjustable tiebar rods, couple of ball joints have been replaced. 

Appears to an older restoration, with a few spots of surface rust showing here and there (as per photos). sticker on bootlid has been applied over another sticker that removed paint upon removal. Paint is showing its age and has had touchups done. Underside is tidy and has underseal applied. 

Interior is in excellent condition. 

I Bought it with a slipping clutch (in third gear under load). Engine and gearbox out of car at moment, clutch oil seal has let go, easy fix. Been off the road for 3 weeks now, before that it was in excellent runnng condition. Engine pulled strongly and gearbox shifted smoothly.
