Vehicle details
Barn find Studebaer Daytona Sedan found on Ebay USA in July 2018, with starting bds at $2,800 USD. Car looks to be mostly original and all there - would make a good project but needs a lot of work.
Take a look at the others on the Studebaker Daytona Register.
At the time of sale, the seller noted the following comments: "This gorgeous piece of American history has been tucked away for 25+ years and is just waiting to take to the road again. The engine and transmission were overhauled about 25 years ago and the brake lines have been replaced. The gas tank was cleaned but has not been filled. Interior is in good condition with no rips, tears or stains and no discernible odor. The body has no dents or dings that I could see and there is no significant rust, just some surface rust. It has power steering. The building in which it is stored is dry and free from drafts. So no mildew or mold has crept in. The car does not run but can with some work, I was told by the mechanic who overhauled it that it needs a battery and some gas to get it running. I believe all the #s match and everything is original. It has 42k miles. We have the title and the key. If you have any additional questions do not hesitate to ask. The car belonged to a mechanic who specialized in transmissions and was well stored."
