Very difficult to find such low-mileage examples outside of Japan - this one with 30,000km on the clock in NZ, looks very stock and in great condition, asking $30,000 in August 2018. The seller noted the following comments at the time of sale:

Purchased it a few years ago from the individual who imported it from Japan. Just ticked over to 30,000km. It must be one one of the nicest ones in the country. Seems the car was fitted since new with GAB shocks at all four corners and a GAB strut brace, sits a bit lower but handles well.

Being a series 2 it had a horrible looking steering wheel, when I got it, it had the Momo steering wheel, this has since been replaced with a Pulsar GTI steering wheel which is the same as a series 1 GTI-R steering wheel but with the GTI badge, have not been able to locate a GTI-R badge for it. Rest of the car is standard down to the factory exhaust and the air box, the factory mats, and factory radio (which does not work - may just be a fuse, I have not checked) it is like new effectively.

Also included in the sale is the rare factory speaker which sits on the back parcel shelf, I took it out and fitted the normal parcel shelf. I removed the monsoon shields and sadly it damaged the paint a bit on the door frame, have also purchased new driver and passenger window rubbers from Nissan in Hamilton to replace old ones when the top of the door frames are repainted, if you’re a perfectionist it will need to be done.

Registration is on hold and it has no WOF at present but will arrange for 1 month registration and a new WOF on sale. Had 4 new tyres fitted a year or so ago.  It is a 24 year old car and therefore as is where is. Looking for offer at this stage overs $25k. I frequently look at these that are for sale all over the world and have yet to see one like this, if not sold in NZ it will be exported.

Check out the others on the Nissan Pulsar GTiR Register.
