Found online in August 2017, however, the advertisement was originally from June 2017 (advertised on Ebay Australia), this would make an awesome project - the MX22 Corona MKII Hardtop. Lots of work needed to get this back to its former glory (particularly the rusty sills), but worth it given the low numbers (particularly in Aus).

Check out the others on the Toyota Mark II Classic Corona Register.

The seller noted the following at the time of sale:

"Toyota Corona MX22 Coupe to go to someone who has a passion for these beauties. We've had the car for over 3 years.  It's sat in a shed the whole time.  Too many projects and not enough time.  Haven't done a thing to it except take the carby off (with the intention of rebuilding it but haven't so it's in a bag).

Black interior that is in fair condition (see pics). Back seat is great condition - just needs a good clean.  Front drivers seat needs repair.  Not sure about the passenger front seat - haven't taken the car seat cover off to check. Yellow/lemon duco that is in poor condition with surface rust (see pics).   Rust along bottom drivers sill and rust at the top passenger rear quarter (see pics).

Boot looks ok (see pics).  Rear of roof has some dints (looks like the car might have frequented the local footy in its former life - see pics). We were told it has a 4M 6cyl reco motor so not original motor/matching numbers (see pics).

We believe it was on gas at some point based on the gas value in the rear drivers side quarter (see pics)."
