Genuine 1972 Ford Falcon XA GT, sedan and had the same owner for 41 years. This example was advertised in New Zealand in August 2018 asking $82,000, and looks like an amazing original example with low mileage. The owner noted they bought the car when it had 42,000 miles in 1977 and now has 96,266 original miles.

The seller noted the following comments at the time of offering: Always stored always undercover and garaged....a good clean, original car.  Just parked her up and has not seen the light of day for many years. There were no issues when she was going only a small leak in the fuel tank. Before she was parked up, was only just driven at weekends and not used everyday. A 351 4V Cleveland motor, 4 speed top loader, 9 inch Ford diff and sitting on 14x7 Globe mags since 1985. She is the lovely bronze colour with beige vinyl roof and even has the black, louvre on back window . Carpet is still original as with upholstery. Basically driven into garage, stored and never driven again.

There is a small crack by the ashtray but otherwise good condition. The body work is good and maybe the odd blemish, a very small indentation on drivers door, small dent on front right hand guard on sill area, the odd patina from stone chips but overall pretty darn good. I Had a crash after a week of owning her in 1977, damage to the passenger side front, among things replaced was the shock tower, hence no number there.

She has been in hibernation now for so long and a little dusty but basically in good overall condition...she is a great car.
