1978 Leyland Mini GTS

A few interesting features on this GTS, which we found advertised on gumtree South Africa in August 2018, asking R30,000.

The guards have been flared, and although the chassis number (plate) suggests the car is a 1978 onward model (which we've guessed as 78), the 10 inch wheels suggest that the car has had its 8.4 iunch disc brakes removed (only the 7.5 earlier brakes would fit). We did try contacting the seller at the time but weren't able to get further details of this example. Would be nice to bring it back to original.

At the time of sale, the advertisement noted: Twin SU carb, Electronic ignition fitted, New shoes all around (suggesting it has been converted to all drums), New starter & solenoid, Carbs cleaned, Wiring redone, Starter overhauled.
