At the time of sale, the seller noted the following:

This 1986 Mercedes Benz AMG 560SEC 6.0 is an extreme version of the marque’s flagship coupe built by AMG . This muscular take on the standard coupe might not be restrained or subtle, but with a 6.0 liter, quad cam, 32 valve kick it doesn’t need to be. Apart from the showy widebody conversion, this car is littered with interesting AMG touches. AMG badge adorns the rear deck lid and even the exhaust tips are AMG-branded items. Kept by one owner for 30 years, there is no evidence of accident damage anywhere. While six-way adjustable Recaro sports seats in high end luxury cars may seem almost base now, in 1986 these electrically-adjustable buckets must have seemed pretty radical. Leather appears very nicely kept throughout, with no cracks or tears on any visible surface. More AMG branding can be seen on the burled wood dash veneer. The odometer shows just under 45700 miles. This car’s M117 V8 sports AMG-designed DOHC heads, and in the 6.0 liter Hammer a similar quad-cam mill produced 375 horsepower and more than double the standard car’s torque. Though is heavier than the Hammer, this car feels fast and responsive. .The car is fully inspected with all maintenance up to date, and is available for road tests. Cars built by AMG prior to becoming Mercedes’ in-house tuner have a special air of madness about them, and considered to be the rarest and most desirable AMG vehicles ever build.
