Short wheelbase pajero's are getting thin on the ground these days, with many using them as weekend cars to take rock climbing. This relatively well looked after turbo diesel example was advertised on trademe.co.nz in JHanuary 2018, and has a relatively standard 240,000 km on the clock - most you see these days have well over 300.. This project started in 2007 when in a fit of nostalgia I purchased this 1973 Mitsubishi Galant Colt GTO GS2000 off Trade Me. The car had spent most of its life in Wairarapa and the body was in excellent condition with no rust, however the paint work, upholstery and bright work was tired. A very rare opportunity just found on trademe.co.nz - this Galant GTO was recently imported, but needs quite a bit of restoration work. The car is believed to have been first registered in Japan in November 1971, and was last registered in March 1978 which indicates it has been off the road for almost 40 years.
