Spotted this example on ebay.com.au in May 2019. It looks to be in excellent original condition, with the factory paint and trim nearly perfect, and fairly low mileage (160,000km) - very low for the cars age. Most we see have 250,000km and over on the clock. The W124 coupes are one of the best looking and quality cars Merc built, but at this time (2019), and for the past 5 years at least, they have struggled to pull more than 10K AUD.

My car was originally LHD but was factory converted to RHD as the US market did not want the 3.6ltr 6 cylinder manual variant. There are visual signs of this where the front indicators are the larger type + a blanking plate on the passenger door where the wing mirror controls used to be. The colour has since changed in 2009 from Cranbury (CEE) to a slightly redder finish. In the U.K. there are only about 275 left of this variant according to cars that are taxed or on sorn.

We had spotted this one advertised for some time on Gumtree.com.au in 2018, and early 2019. Te car looks to have a bit of rust but is complete and (we think) worth saving. At the time of offering it was priced under $5,000 AUD. Hefty mileage at nearly 350,000.. Good to see nice examples out there, and doesn't look bad in the two tone paint. There looks to be only a handful of cars on the register - see the others below.

This car has been advertised in late 2018 / early 2019 in Vic, from 2 different sellers. Thec car is apparently originally a Camino Gold GT. Several people who inspected this car noted that it had a 1380cc engine on the original gearbox, but had the original engine which is sold separately with the car. A rare 320CE spotted on Ebay in 2019. This is the last of the 6-cylinder W124 coupes, one of the best cars Merc ever built. This particular car is an Australian delivered example, with reasonable mileage for its age. The seller noted at the time that the AC needed re-gassing, and rego had just expired. Spotted for sale in April 2019, this is number 75 of 500 Ralliart Magna vehicles sold in the Australian market. Looks to be in excellent condition for its age, and is among several currently advertised online. Spotted on trademe.co.nz in April 2019. This unaltered original example of the Galant coupe has a little bit of rust in the body and panels, but it's fairly limited and would make an easy project. Located in Japan, this is one of the rare Evo Pajeros which was built as a homologation special to compete in the Dakar rally. This example was advertised on www.japanesecartrade.com in APril 2019. Looks to be in good condition, with low ks (75,000 on the clock). These cars are exceptionally rare and offer a sports SWB SUV like no other brand provided at the time. An Australian delivered example of the C36 AMG, this one with decent mileage at 330,000km. We spotted this car advertised on carsales.com.au in April 2019, asking $15,000. At the time. there were a couple of other examples on sale at around the same value, indicating these early C class AMG cars are starting to get into the affordable classic category. This BE-1, a somewhat limited edition (10,000 built) Japanese hatch was advertised on japanesecartrade.com in April 2019, asking only $1,980 USD. Looks like this is a good time to buy, with landed cars in placed like Australia already asking under $5K. A cool looking Mini immitatio, with a similar carby 1.0l 4 cylinder engine. Full roll back sunroof, and the retro design continues inside. The cars do look a lot better witha set of minilite wheels / Watanabe's or similar.
