Lovely combination, this rare 420 SEC is finished in white with contrasting red cloth interior. This example was spotted for sale on trademe.co.nz in Sep 2019, and seems to be a well looked after example with (relatively) low ks. The car is noted on carjam as an aftermarket import. Like Australia, it's hard to find a NZ delivered car with the cloth seats like this. This one most likely came from Hong Kong or Japan.

This Daytona hardtop sold through bringatrailer.com - see the original listing here: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1964-studebaker-daytona/. One of quite a number added here to classic register (see links below to the others). This example has seen a fair bit of mechanical and body refurbishment. Unsure whether this is a factory R2 - but unlikely. Many of the 64 Daytonas have since been retrofitted. Looks great, but in our opinion we'd opt for the Daytona full width hubcaps to really finish...

Spotted for sale in 2019, this imported SEC would have likely been from Hong Kong or Japan. Needs a little work and has some rust in the corner of the rear screen.. I don't think Australian SECs were ever optioned with cloth, so this is rare to see. The airbag option was also rare in Australia. The seller noted the car has some other rust - and was unregistered. Bids starting at 8500 AUD in Sep 2019. A bargain under 10K, and a nice way to get into the classic Mercedes market.

This GP 2 was spotted on Ebay Australia in Sep 2019. Probably only a couple in the country (out if a production run or around 6000). The seller at the time of offering noted the following interesting facts about these cars: The 3E-TE was a 1.5 litre, SOHC 12v engine which was found in certain Corolla II and Corsa “GP-turbo” models (chassis code EL31) from 1986 through 1990. Visually these resembled a squashed-up EP71 Starlet with strong AW11 MR2 design cues and pop-up lights thrown in for good...

We spotted this rare Brock Fairmont Ghia B8 on Ebay in September 2019. Looks to have a bit of rust, but not too bad. A great project and probably a good investment. There are a few of these that come up for sale each year which is surprising considering there were a couple of hundred of the B8s built. This one was spotted on Ebay Australia extremely cheap - unbelievable for such a low mileage example. It's VERY hard to find these cars in late model form (1996-1998) - most are the earlier S500s. Hard to say how many would be about but estimate only a few hundred C140 CL500s on the road in Australia (maybe a couple of thousand cars if you include the earlier S500 coupes and the 1992/93 SECs. Found on Ebay USA in Sep 2019, with a buy now price of $8,750! It;'s never been a better time to buy one of these future classics. At the time of the sale the seller noted: Very well maintained garage kept it's whole life ,interior extremely clean like nobody ever sat in..119k miles runs and drives excellent AC ice cold with all the power options of its time and every button functions like it should,... I don't think it can get any more luxury than this back of its time just wonderful vehicle...

My 1st Car. Got out of the Navy April 1968 , Purchased May 1968. My ride untill 1988. Sat outside in CT. untill 2010. Shipped to TX. did a frame off restortion. Bottom had a lot of salt damage. Put in 1 pice floor , trunk + wheel wells. Keep her as original as I could. Added Disc Breaks , Vintage Air , OEM options added Tri-Power. Power Bucket Seat, Recliner Passenger Seat , Head Reast's , Rear Power Antenna Reverb, Rear Speaker , Rear Defrost. all OEM parts from a totaled 66 GTO.
