January 23, 2017 - Australia / MG
This 1969 VW Beetle had a sale price of $6500 AUD at the end of January 2017. This car has had new floors, heater channels, clutch, gaskets, window rubbers, door rubbers, indicator rubbers, H4 front lights, front guards, engine retune, brakes rebuilt and front beam rebuilt and more put into it over the last four years. The 1600 engine is still a very reliable engine that starts every time and quite easily sits on 110km/h with no worries. This car has recently completed some road trips which...
January 22, 2017 - Australia / Ford
Number 10 or 106 built, this Regency Red Fairlane by Tickford was offered for sale in January 2017, asking $5,500. A very good price in comparison to others online at the same time - but noting that this car has over 200,000km on the clock. It all still looks to be in fairly good condition, so at this price would be a great investment. Update: We've been advised that this car was involved in a front end accident and, repaired by fordpro wreckers. The current owner is now looking after it after...
January 22, 2017 - Australia / Amilcar
This extremely rare supercar was originally an import from South Africa in the late 1980s to where it resides now in Sydney Australia. This car features an original black leather interior with a light blue exterior finish. This car also features the factory installed sunroof. Proches from this era are easily identified with the large plastic rear spoiler on the now famous Porsche 2 door design. This car shows very little signs of age and has no major bumps, scratches, rust or interior blemishes...
January 21, 2017 - Australia / Mini
This nicely restored MK1 Morris Cooper S has been painted in its original colour combination, and has a few tasteful modifications, such as wheel arch flares and a sports steering wheel. This was advertised on carsales.com.au in 2017, asking $59,990 - a hefty price, but one not far of what some very original Australian Cooper S cars have achieved domestically and in the UK. If you have one, please sign up and post yours. If you're interested in purchasing one of these cars, check out Classic...
January 20, 2017 - Australia / Mini
Spotted on carsales.com.au in mid-January 2017, asking $39,000 (AUD) - this looks to be a very original, matching Numbers Australian Morris Cooper S. The seller provided very few comments about the car, but from a quick look at the compliance plate and images, it seems to have been restored very close to original specification, with Snow White paint contrasting nicely against the red interior trim. We have quite a few Australian Cooper S cars on the register now - if you have one, please sign up...

This is an example of a rare survivor from the 1970s, LC 4 door 6 cyl 4 speed (motor is a 202 and gearbox is an m20 4 sp). The Body is good condition with a few spots of paint fade and rust as seen in the pictures, other than this it is a fairly straight body. This little beauty has period mags and a sports steering wheel. It drives great and stops well with the factory fitted disc brake's on the front. This could serve as a daily driver or as a project car as it is still in great working order...

January 19, 2017 - Australia / Mercedes
This is a spectacular example of a well kept 80s gem, This particular example of Mercedes' 560SL Features a Red interior along with the iconic Champane Silver paint colour. The photos speak for themselves with an all round pristene finish on both the interior and the exterior. This 560SL features 198,000kms, which for its age of 30 years is not as much as it seems. The engine still runs great and this car has a full service and log book history. This 560SL was availible in early 2017 in Victoria...

A Truly Exceptional example of a 1988 BMW E30 M3 with only 57,960 Actual 2 owner miles. It has always remained in Florida and has been collector car owned by a BMW aficionado since 2001. It has just gone through a complete and thorough service by Miami BMW Specialists, MasterClass Automotive, and needs nothing. It looks, runs and drives like new and comes with a clean Carfax report which is available upon request. The Show Quality Alpine White paint is basically Flawless with a deep mirror like...
January 17, 2017 - United States / Ford
Although mustangs after the mid 1970s did not carry the same weight as the classic cars released by ford in the 1960s and early 70s. The 1980s mustang felt a lot more "plastic" when compared to the iron horses of earlier models. Like the rest of the american car industry they were being squeezed by the japanese and Ford and GM were considered to be making sub optimal cars. Even though this was the case these cars are becoming more popular as 80s designs are becoming more nalstalgic. Featuring a...
January 16, 2017 - Australia / Mini
This is my 1967 Australian MK1 Morris Cooper S. The car was purchased in South Australia in 2016 - the seller at the time had the car for around 10 years, and had done some work to start bringing it back to original spec, including having new tyres fitted to repainted wheels, and had refurbished all of the brake lines but temporarily installed front drums. The engine currently in the car is a 1275cc unit, however, I believe this is out of an 1100S. I have another correct 1275 MK1 Cooper S engine...
January 16, 2017 - Australia / Leyland
This 998LS is a very late model from May 1978 - and likely one of the very last 998 LSs before the 1275 LS took over. The car was offered for sale by the same seller who had offered an Iridium Green 998LS also on the register here, up at Taree NSW. The seller was asking $6,000 for this silver car at the time (January 2017). This car looks to be in very good original condition (including retaining its original black vinyl roof!), and we hope it has been / gets purchased by someone who wants to...
