1275LS was offered on Gumtree Australia in November 2016. The car claimed to have no rust, and was asking $6,500 firm. Altough unconfirmed, a contact notified us that this car was inspected, and it is believed that the 1275LS front was installed onto a new body.. Not 100% confirmed, but just suspected.. Either way, another rare car for the register, and a survivor worth preserving.

Rare RS2000 done up to UK rally spec. The seller made the following comments when this car was advertised for sale on Gumtree Australia in November 2016: 7/79 genuine Escort RS2000 coupe uniquely presented as "X Pack" with factory 3 1/2" box flares running the full length of each guard, an expensive option on RS2000s and other Fords in the UK, copied off the Zakspeed racing cars, but never offered on our local models. This 1275LS shall was offered for sale on Ebay in November 2016, and reached $1,500 final bid. The shell was described as relatively rist free, but unfortunately came without any running gear or subframes. One of only 800 cars built, and of 400 in this particular colour. This was originally a 6 cylinder carby Fairmont Ghia ESP, but has been converted to V8. We are not 100% sure that this is an ESP, particularly considering the interior is not correct, however, most other parts of the car check out - importantly the model code confirms it is a Fairmont Ghia. This 1982 model XE ESP was seen for sale on Gumtree in October 2016, asking $7,500.00 Negotiable. This is a rare carby 6 cylinder model, offered in the popular two tone arrangement as was offered only in 1982. At the time of sale, the seller provided the following description: "Ford Xe Fairmont Gia Esp factory 6 cylinder carby had v8 running gear been registered in nsw with v8 selling as a rolling she'll Esp interia Esp wheels with extra parts very good on rust only door pullers no rust in doors...

This XE ESP was spotted on Ebay in late 2016. Unfortunately, this one has seen better days. As a 1983 model, this car was fitted with the fuel injected version of the 6-cylinder (with V8 models stopping production in late 1982. This XE ESP is the fuel injected 6-cylinder version as was available from 1983 - 1984, after Ford announced that V8 production would stop in November 1982. This one was found advertised in late 2016, asking $18,000. As a 6-cylinder car, these are less desirable than their V8 counterparts,but nonetheless rare, with an estimate of around 600 of these produced from 1983 0 1984 (but this figure is not backed uhp by any solid evidence). This rare XD ESP was spotted for sale on Gumtree Australia in October 2016. This is one of only a few on Classic Register, from what is a very rare and now desirable batch of cars. At the time of offering, the seller was asking $29,990 (AUD). Not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive, seeing as we have seen one asking over 50K in the same week.
