June 10, 2016 - Australia / Nissan
This car was found for sale online in 2006, asking $4,600 (AUD), being build number 139 of 200 GTS1 cars produced by Nissan's Special Vehicles Division. These cars are hard to come by, but have generally held out fairly well over the years, as we have been able to add quite a number of them to the register relatively easily over time - and lots are still out there on the road which is great to see. At the time of sale, the seller noted the car had new tyres and clutch, and the steering rack was...

A highly modified Australian RS2000 coupe, found on Carsales.com.au in June 2016. This car has had a significant amount of work, with a Nissan SR20 engine installed, among other things. The seller noted that the car has R.O.H. Mags 15’’ (special order from R.O.H. in 1999) . Engine is a 200 SX SR20 S15 (Black Top Motor VCT) spare motor available. (Spool Stoker kit to 2.2L Forged) Rocker Stoppers / 550cc injectors. Unfortunately the car is not completely original as we like them, but nonetheless...

This rare R31 GTS2 sedan was last seen for sale on Skylines Australia forums in 2007, asking $12,750. Unfortunately we did not see where the car was located at the time. This is build number 85 of 200, and seems to be in exceptionally good condition back in 2007. This car has the rare manual transmission, which counted for less than half of the cars produced. The GTS2 was a follow up to the GTS1 of 1988, produced by Nissan's Special Vehicles Division, who built these cars at the same time that...

This is a particularly interesting project which we have included on the GTS1 register - considering that this car was made from a donor car (number 81), and has its build plate and parts applied to create an Rg1 GTS1 Wagon! A shame that the original sedan was ruined and had to be parted out, however, we are glad that it ended up being re-born - this wagon conversion actually looks pretty cool, and it's great to have it together so we can keep number 81 alive. Would be great to see someone...

The car has had a substantial amount of work done, and is stated to have undergone a restoration in 2009. There are a few issues that the seller noted at the time of sale, including the need for a gearbox recondition, bearing replacement and a leaking clutch master cylinder. The tint is also damaged on the driver's window. During the 2009 restoration...

You don't see many around, and with only 2,500 units produced for rally homologation purposes, we're lucky if there’s a handful in any market outside of Japan. Originally sold only in the Japanese domestic market, the Familia GT-R is from the golden age of ‘Group A’ rally, when manufacturers had to produce rally cars which were based on actual road cars built in minimum numbers; the requirement at the time being 2,500 units. The ‘Group A’ rules in both rally and touring cars are a major reason...

This particular XE has to be one of the best preserved of the batch of around 43 cars, with only 20,000 original k's on the clock. Believed to now reside with a collector in Victoria, the car was last for sale some years ago on Australian Muscle Car Sales at $40,000 (perhaps around 2012, but date unconfirmed). The Dick Johnson Grand Prix Turbo was produced by the Country Dealer Team in Victoria, with only 43 units built! This particular car is number 5 of those 43. The car is fitted with a 250ci...
