This is an interesting mini who's body may not in fact be an LS. The LS ID tag appears to be attached to the shell using aftermarket screws, and there do not appear to be flare backing panels extending down the front mudguard edge, suggesting that the shell may be a standard Leyland mini. Either way, the ID tag is LS, and it makes it onto the register for that reason. This is the last 1275LS to be produced, and obviously the highest chassis number known. This 1275LS was for sale in September 2015, located in Wollongong NSW. The car appears to have a variation of the Hi-Ho silver paint, with a sort of olive finish to it. Originally, the car would have been the standard Hi-Ho Silver. The engine is questionable. This right-hand drive, five-speed 240Z was delivered new to the UK and first registered here on 1st January 1972, making it one of the earliest to reach these shores.
