Spotted this SSS coupe on FB marketplace in March 2021. Full description of its restoration is in the images, but looks to have been fitted with a nice set of Watanabes, racing seats, and a heap of other work. Asking $30,000 at the time we saw it. These cars are really getting up there in price! As expected I suppose. Check out the others on the register below. Not too much detail given on this one when spotted on gumtree Australia in March 2021.. Apparently someone's daily driver, no rust and needed limited work. 160,000km, and asking just 5K Bargain 80s coupe at the time.. These (may) start going up in value, but for the moment they are bargain basement

My strange obsession with these old Luxury Mazda coupes continues. This one was advertised in Melbourne in March 2021, asking $8,900 - a higher price than you would usually see on these cars. However, this one appears well kept, and it is a turbo. Rear drive, 80s styling, some luqury features (check out the clean silver finish dash design, which I love!).. A cheap way to get into an 80s classic (also known as the Mazda cosmo in Japan I believe..)

This LS was spotted on Gumtree in March 2021, asking $19,500. It looks to be in very original and complete condition, and even has its original carpet fitted (which is not that worn considering!). Shows 67,000 on the ODO,a nd there's every chance that's corret with a car of this age in this condition, with no knowledge of prior restoration. Unfortunately, we don't have VIN / chassis number for this Mini LS - let us know if you know the details so we can add it to the spreadsheet.

Another Gem spotted in 2021, this one advertised on Gumtree.com.au, and several other sites, asking just $12,000 AUD. While that might seem a lot for a partly dismantled car, this osne supposedly has no rust, and has everything there to complete it (according to the seller at the time). The amount you will save on rust repairs makes this car very worthwhile - and it also happens to be a desirable and original manual. At the time this car was offered, it was noted to come with it's original...

Nice and clean 1275E from South Africa

Rare today, and the best Mercedes coupe ever built. This C140 is an early GV12 600 model that looks tou be in perfect original condition, even retaining its original radio. Asking only 20,000 EUR in March 2021, spotted on an Austriain used car website. Check out the others on the register. The ultimate in classic Mercedes coupes.

This Opel Commodore C was advertised on a German used car wehbsite, and is the first barn find of the car we've come accross.. Looks to be very complete and original, but in sercious need of a deep clean and no doubt a full service. Spotted a few of these rare cars on the net - check out the others on the register below. Nicely modified example of the Opel Commodore C, this one in Germany advertised for sale in 2021, asking EUR 6,400. Not sure whether the Bronze paint is original, but looks great!

This example was advertised on one of my favourite Polish 2nd hand site, allegro.pl, which has tons of interesting German cars at fairly low prices.. I have a feeling all the good second hand stuff in Europe finds its way tou PL. The seller advertising this one noted it needs a restoration, but runs and drives, and is 99% original. The seller had also supposedly installed 2 new front mudguards, and front "frets" - whatever they are..Anyway, this is the second on the register, and a very unique...

These days, most that come up for sale are those we've already got on the register, but this one seems to be a fresh aexample that's been in storage for a while (the seller claiming it has been sitting in storage for the past 7 years). The seller noted the car has a sunroof, 12inch cosmic alloy wheels (havent seen them before on a Mini) plus ap racing front disk brakes. The car still needs a full engine, gearbox, long range fuelk tank and steering wheel to complete - probably a few other things...

Spotted on a German car website https://www.autouncle.de/, the Opel Commodore C coupe is a very rare car that has always interested me. Being an Australia, we were deprived of many of the great coupes of the 1980s, and instead had to make do with the 4-door versions of the commodore (which were heavily modified from their Opel origins tuo take Chevy V8 engines, in various forms fromthe VB through to the VL. It would be nice to bring one of these over to Australia and turn it into an HDT version.
