This is one of the first 500 cars to get Nissan to qualify for the World Rally Championship, and is an early series 1 car (with the umbrella and GTiR steering wheel. Spotted it on carsales.com.au in May 2021, asking over $38,000! It wasnt long ago that you could get thius for under 10K.. Some asking prices have gone mad.. It's quite rare to see these in white. This one was advertised on facebook marketplace asking just over $20,000 in May 2021. Looks to be in reasonable condition, with a front mounted custom intercooler applied. Looks a bit untidy under the hood, but certainly worth a look. This is one of the very last Australian delivered Volvo 242GTs - one of 30 odd care in 1980 to have the quad lamp front ejnd fitted (all earlier models had single round lamps). Relatively high Ks but normal for a car this age, and it seems to have held up relatively well. These 242 GTs are hard to find and this example, asking $11,000 in 2021, presents a reaosnable opportunity price wise - spotted...

Another rare Chairman spotted, this one founf on facebook Marketplace and gumtree.com.au in May 2021. The white over grey finish is certainly a rare colour - most tend to be silver or black cars. Again, it's common to find these with low Ks aven 15 years on. This one only has 90,000 on the clock, and looks in amazing condition. Presumably, they were bought by older businessmen, and fairly well...

Spotted thius one on Humtree Australia in May 2021 asking 15K - apparently is tuned to 300KW (normally 221kw from the factory). These are quite rare cars, and excellent performers.This has the 6-speed manual transmission, and is a very early version (the ad says 2003, but apparently these were not released until 2004, so we have assumed it's an 04 model. Images of this 242 GT have been floating around the internet for some time, but it's only recently that I've discovered that this car ius a rare late model Australian delivered model, which had as standard quad headlamps. This is my favourite TX3 model, the KE turbo 4x4. In my opinion, it's the best looking TX3, in hatch form, which looks similar to the GTR Mazda Group A rally car of which it's based on. This one was spotted on Facebook marketplace with no price, but indicating in the sellers comments that he thinks 5K is the market value. Looks fairly complete, bit needs a clean up. Love it in blue, future classic...
