Coupe
A NZ example spotted on trademe.co.nz. Originally a light Gold coloured car, now red, lowered and looking like a DR30 Skyline. Got a few of these interesting (and now rare) luxury Japaneze 929s on the register.

This 77 Cosmo Landau is in amazing original condition, and has been advertised on Trademe.co.nz for quite a while, asking around $55 NZD. A nice car with very low Ks for the age, and the condition really shows they are probably genuine. Not many of these around.

Nissan
Exceptionally rare in Australia, this SSS Coupe was spotted on facebook marketplace asking $36,000 AUD in February 2021 - listed by Auto Dynasty Classic. If you want one, this is probably the only one you'd see for sale in the next few years. Very cool, fitted with an EFI turbo engine, and certainly better looks than the Aussie 4-door versions.

Probably the cleanest Stanza SSS we've ever seen, and snuck under the hood is the SR20 - a very popular conversion for most of the older Dattos. This one has a heap of modifications, and was advertised on Gumtree.com.au in Feb 2021, asking $21,500 at the time. In the original advertisement, the seller noted the following features: - SR20DE, 5 speed manual - Bare metal respray of entire shell in 2013 including rust cut out and vinyl stripes with new stickers still in show condition - Complete SSS...

Toyota
A rare Familia GTR spotted on Facebook Marketplace in Februatry 2020, This one asking big $$ at $25,000 AUD. These were relatively successful rally cars, and built as Group A homologation specials - and make an interesting competitor to teh GTiR Pulsar, and so many other Group A rally specials of the early 1990s..

Spotted on Facebook Marketplace in February 2020 asking $20,000, this early 1972180B SSS was being sold as part of a deceased estate. It’s a one owner, matching numbers car that was resprayed back in the early 90’s. The engine bay was the only part not painted. The original colour was orange. The car has been in shed storage since the early 90’s, and hasn’t been driven or started since. The front end is up on blocks. At the time, the seller noted that the interior is in excellent condition...

A rare late model 205 GTI found for sale on Gumtree.com.au in Feb 2021 - this was asking $29,000 at the time. Looks to be very original with relatively low Ks at 157,000.A real classic, but at this time it might be pushed to get aj price over $17,500 in my view - maybe that will change in a decade or so, as there are't too many of these 205 GTIs left in the world, let alone Australia who had very few delivered. But it is great to see one in such excellent original and preserved condition.

Peugeot
This GTI 180 is finished in the very popular silver - this one found on carsales.com.au in February 2021. A rare and sought after model, with a performance Based 2.0-litre 16-valve four cyclinder engine, the GTi 180's engine ups power and torque over the standard GTi 2.0-litre by 30kW and 20Nm to 133kW - or 180hp in the old money, hence the tag - and 202Nm. According to Peugeot, the GTI 180 can cover from 0-100km/h in 7.4 seconds. The 180 has a lot of features including 17" alloy wheels, Climate...

Peugeot
This is the first 206 GTI on Classic Register. I've loved these French hot hatches since they were new, but more so in the later form (the GTI 180 - which this car is). The 180 was up in power significantly from the first GTI series 206, and had a number of styling improvements to make it look very much like its earlier incarnation, the 205 GTI - which was essentially a roller skate. The 17 inch wheels do the trick with this.. Interestingly these hot hatches have not held their value well...

Volkswagen
Relatively rare now in Australia, the Proton Satria GTi used the Evo's engine (without the tubo) in this hot hatch configuration of the early 00s. A very popular car when new, they have become a cult classic, but rarely come up. Still, prices are holding around 5K for a complete example - this one asking $5,900 on FB marketpace in February 2021. This is the first we've added to the register.
