February 15, 2021 - Australia / Volvo
This very rare T5-R Wagon was advertised on FB Marketplace in February 2021, asking $38,888 AUD at the time. Low Ks, and originally from Japan - this one was imported and offered by Auto Dynasty Classic in Sydney.
February 15, 2021 - New Zealand / Mazda
This one was advertised on trademe.co.nz in Feb 2021, asking $36,000.This is a genuine factory Rotary RX-5 - as opposed to the piston engined cars which seem to fetch much less in the marketplace. Car looks to be in good solid original condition, needing only a tidy up aind perhaps some minor repairs. A good point at which to get a classic like this - prices of these are no douby only headed up from here.
February 15, 2021 - Australia / Coupe
Advertised on Gumtree Australia in February 2020, asking $8,500, this rolling shell with interior is fairly complete and would make a great project for a Mazda enthusiast. There are a few significant rust spots, but supposedly the flloors and sills are in great condition. Hopefuly this 929 coupe can be saved.
February 15, 2021 - Australia / Mazda
This 121 coupe has been on gumtree Australia for a while, asking just $5K. This particular version of the Cosmo / RX5 / 121 is still very afordable, and hasn't taken off in the same way as other late 70s Japanese coupes (unless of course it's the Rotary version which command quite a bit more). A bargain in 2021 for a classic Mazda coupe.
February 14, 2021 - Australia / Mazda
This is a 4-cylinder Mazda 121 (from before the 121 was a small car). The 121 is the non-rotary version of the RX-5 which was sold in markets such as Australia (also known as the Cosmo AP). This example is a solid rust free car that has been partly dismantled for restoration. The seller at the time (on Ebay in Feb 2021) noted the following comments: Minor surface rust on bonnet and roof due to thin/worn paint. Floor pans and sills solid (there was rust in rear RHS foot well, but has had...
February 12, 2021 - New Zealand / Coupe
A NZ example spotted on trademe.co.nz. Originally a light Gold coloured car, now red, lowered and looking like a DR30 Skyline. Got a few of these interesting (and now rare) luxury Japaneze 929s on the register.
February 12, 2021 - New Zealand / Mazda
This 77 Cosmo Landau is in amazing original condition, and has been advertised on Trademe.co.nz for quite a while, asking around $55 NZD. A nice car with very low Ks for the age, and the condition really shows they are probably genuine. Not many of these around.
February 11, 2021 - Australia / Volvo
Spotted on FB Marketplace in Feb 2020, asking $22,000. Looks to be quite an original example of the 242GT. Not many aronud these days!
February 11, 2021 - Australia / Nissan
Exceptionally rare in Australia, this SSS Coupe was spotted on facebook marketplace asking $36,000 AUD in February 2021 - listed by Auto Dynasty Classic. If you want one, this is probably the only one you'd see for sale in the next few years. Very cool, fitted with an EFI turbo engine, and certainly better looks than the Aussie 4-door versions.
February 11, 2021 - Australia / Datsun
Probably the cleanest Stanza SSS we've ever seen, and snuck under the hood is the SR20 - a very popular conversion for most of the older Dattos. This one has a heap of modifications, and was advertised on Gumtree.com.au in Feb 2021, asking $21,500 at the time. In the original advertisement, the seller noted the following features: - SR20DE, 5 speed manual - Bare metal respray of entire shell in 2013 including rust cut out and vinyl stripes with new stickers still in show condition - Complete SSS...
February 10, 2021 - Australia / Toyota
A rare Familia GTR spotted on Facebook Marketplace in Februatry 2020, This one asking big $$ at $25,000 AUD. These were relatively successful rally cars, and built as Group A homologation specials - and make an interesting competitor to teh GTiR Pulsar, and so many other Group A rally specials of the early 1990s..
