This 900 Aero was spotted advertised in Hillcrest South Australia in February 2021 on gumtree.com.au, asking $27,000 AUD at the time. Very lkow Ks at 138,000 - hard to find examples with such low Ks now. Looks solid and original, and prices recently have been on the up.. years ago you could get one for under $15k!. Sadly, this wreck looks too far gone but would make an ideal parts car for someone with a decent shell. Spotted on Gumtree Australia in February 2020, the seller was asking for expressions of interest. Looks to be complete, just a shame about the body condition. Plenty of useable parts there which could be restored. Increasingly scarce these 180B SSS hardtops, particularly considering their susceptibility to rust! Spotted this gem in February 2021 asking for offers over $6,000 AUD.It is an auto, but these opportunities are rare, and the 180B SSS will soon be as difficult to get as the C210 Skyline. Looks to be complete, but expect the usual significant rust which would require a $10K budget to repair properly. Prices are certainly on the up for these rare Volvos. There are cheaper examples currently for sale, but the Ks on this one are fairly low and the pictures suggest it's immaculate. Only 5000 850 T5-Rs were built worldwide, with 2000 in yellow, 2500 in black and 500 in green. This is believed to be one of just 4 black T5s in Australia. Been a little while since we've added a MK2 Corona to the register. This one popped up on trademe NZ for sale in Feb 2021, asking $45,000.Looks quite original and is in excellent condition. The seller at the time noted that it has just 36,000 certified km on the clock, and is a Japanese import to NZ with the RX21 engine (1.8l), with 4-sped manual gearobox.

Somewhat fascinated by these luxury Mazda coupes of the 80s.. Found this one on Gumtree Australia asking just $3,500 in Feb 2021.. They seem to hold together fairly well, and there are quite a few available - I assume they sold quite well in the 80s but don't know much about them. This two tone example was described as a two owner car, and mostly original in its advertisement.. Will try and add a few more of these to the register..

Tbihs is something you don't see everyday - a JDM 1986 Nissan Skyline R31 GT limited S. It's one of 500 limited S pillarless hard tops made for JDM market, and had Factory LSD, intercooled ceramic turbo RB20det, sports trim, ventilated discs all round. Hicas, airco and rear spoiler to name just a few features. It's the first time I've spotted one so thought I better add it to the register in case I never see one again :)

This survivor was spotted on Gumtree in February 2021 - asking just $3,900,with standard significant Ks on the clock. This is the classic 740 with the intercooled turbocharged engine. Really, the last of the true Lego block performance (rear drive) volvos of the 80s. Not many running around the streets nowadays.

Spotted for sale on Ebay in February 2021, this 242 GT is one of just 600 imported into Australia, and a very popular sports version of the Volvo 240 globally, having a strong motorsport connection (see Groupi C racing in Australia). At the time this was advertised it was asking $12,000 buy it now.

Advertised in January 2020, this GTS-R was available through "Auto Dynasty" importers, asking $59,000 AUD. Prices of these 80s homologation cars have started to skyrocket - with the Australian cars starting slightly earlier than the Japanese counterparts - but let's not forget that this car was the 1990 Australiakn Touring Car Champion..
