July 16, 2021 - Australia / Volkswagen
One of my favourite NA hot hatches of the earlu 00s. These were very popular in their day, using the Evo engine block, but of course non-turbo, but did have their handling tuned by lotus. People love them, but they've become scarce on the ground as most people threshed the life out of them - they were a cheap performance hatch so ended up in the hands of that sort of crowd. I think these still look so great with their factory body kit, and wider stance. Will try and add a few more GTis to the...
July 14, 2021 - United States / Nash
Another Nash healey restoration project - the third on classic register. This one is a later (1955) coupe, with the angled rear pillar (which I think looks a bit more stylish than the first iteration of the coupe). By the look of the dash, the car may have been a light green in coloue. Hopefuly this car will find someone willing to put the cash into it, and get it into top running condition again. Check out the other Nash Healey projects on the register below.
July 14, 2021 - Australia / Bentley
The 50s S-series coupes and convertibles are among the most desirable Bentley's ever built, and it's no surprise that this example was asking nearly $425,000 (AUD) when we spotted it advertised in July 2021. The car looks amazing in two tone blue, with a nicely contrasting grey cloth trim. Just 431 Continentals were built. They were of course the sporting range at the time, and far ore light-weight than the standard seda. Personally, I prefer the way these earlier cars look (in compariseon say...
July 13, 2021 - Australia / Lancia
This was asking $4,500 on FB marketplace in July 2021 - with the seller noting it's 90% complete. The car actually looks very solid compared to some of the others we've seen, and that will really save the purchaser some money in the longer run. We believe the paint is original, as we've seen a couple of others in this colour. This is an early one (78 model). The earlier ones are best looking in my opinion, compared to the later Mitsubishi badged Scorpions (which went a bit more 80s in the styling...
July 12, 2021 - Australia / Lancia
Always had a thing for these earlier GE and GH Chrysler coupes - I think they look so much nicer than the later model that replaced them (they lost the nice c-pillar that this car has). This example was advertised on FB marketplace in July 2021, asking just $4,000 AUD. This would make a great restoration project - has a bit of rust but looks manageable and certainly worth saving.
July 11, 2021 - United Kingdom / Leyland

July 7, 2021 - Australia / Nash
This 1953 Nash Healey Coupe is an excellent original car and has been advertised for a while online now - asking 39k USD. The seller notes It has been under the same ownership for the last 40 years and comes very complete. Supposedly it has spent most of its life in Texas. Certainly worth a quality restoration and an interesting alternative to a Jag..
July 7, 2021 - United States / Bentley
This is one of America's first sports cars, and it's a forgotten gem from the 50s, left in the shadow, I suppose, of the early Corvette and Thunderbirds of the time. It was built by the Nash-Kalvinator company in conjunction with Donald Healey- once a powerhouse in the US auto sector, but like Studebaker would see financial ruin over the following decade. These are a great looking 50s car, with a 6-cylinder Nash engine and manual transmission, and they have some impressive motorsport history...
July 7, 2021 - Australia / Ford
This beauty was advertised on carsales.com.au and elsewhere online in July 2021. Fairly high ks for this sort of car at 178,000, and asking $50,000 AUD. Of course, it has the legendary Barra turbo 6 with 6-speed ZF transmission, and the car puts out 270kw from the factory turbo 4.0l. This is build number 228. Just 300 R-Spec Typhoons were produced in 2007, each having a unique Argent Dark Silver colour accents on wheels and spoilers, Nappa leather upholstery, R-Spec floor mats, Brembo 4-pot...

July 1, 2021 - Australia / Coupe
This is a 25th Anniversary Edition M3, finished in Agean Blue. This particular car is #33 of just 50 delivered to Australia, and is of course the final production year for the E36 M3 coupes. At the time this car was advertised (gumtree in July 2021) the seller noted it has been tastefully brought back to original showroom condition. In 1999, The final production year of the famous M3 E36, Only 120 right-hand drive E36 M3s (50 coupes and 70 convertibles) with special BMW Individual equipment were...
