One of only 43 built, these TL series fairlanes are very special cars, and this one sold at Lloyds Auctoins in SA for just $13,000 - although the ks are fairly high and the trim is quite worn out as shown the images. The AU Fairlane is one of our favourite Fairlanes and was deliberately designed to look very different to its AU Falcon SWB sibling. This 1978 998 LS was advertised on Ebay over several weeks in 2020. Finished in Iridium Green, and appears to be a very original car, with the seller stating it has 43,000 original km. Given the condition, the km claim is probably genuine. The Iridium Green cars came with cream cloth trim, 10 inch ROH mags (painted gold), and Marshal fog lamps built into the grille. Very few are around. This one needs a bit of work, and appears to be an unrestored but well preserved example of an original car...

Spotted on Graysonline.com.au, a slightly modified 998 LS, this one from Feb 77. Turns out more were built in Feb 77 than first realised.. Needs a bit of work to bring it back to original. Bids on the last day this one was available are sitting at 12K AUD.

Spotted for sale on boatsales.com.au, the 24-foor Maree II was one of several offshore fishing sports boats built by Halvorsen in the early 1960s. This is probably the best example in existance, fully refurbished and now abailable for $94,750. Good to see such an original car - again spotted in NZ where quite a few were imported. The precurser to the Evo, and a very competent rally car, the Galant VR-4 is a real future classic straight out of Group A, and is one of the lesser known alternatives to the big names. This example was spotted on trademe.co.nz and we just had to add it to the register here - a beautifully kept original example with very low km for the age. Late model example of the GT Four, imported to NZ. These cars were banned from the WRC in 1995 due to an illegal turbo part being used. WHat could have been - perhaps would have seen the WRX and Evo out of business if earlier celica performance was anything to go by... Awesome cars, and very low production numbers globally. Very cool hardtop Corona advertised on trademe NZ, Not exactly sure of the series, so I have guessed the title, bu it's a 1973 model, with a heap of work done, and at the time it was advertised on Trademe NZ, was asking $30,000 NZD. Not many of these around any more.

Very nice Galkant GTO spotted on trademe NZ in May 2020! AT the time it was offered, the seller had quite a bit of information about the car and noted it was the 6th car imported from Japan by Todd Motors, and was used as a demonstration car by Molyneux Motors Alexandra, then owned by the garage owners wife, then to a elderly Roxburgh gentlemen. then into storage for aprox 12 years.
