November 23, 2020 - Australia / Sedan
This 190E 2.3 Cosworth was spotted on Ebay Australia in November 2020, asking $38,500 AUD - the highest price we've seen for one of these modern classics. Reasonable mileage at 250,000, it does appear to have been well looked after. At the time this one was advertised, the seller noted a lot of work had been undertaken, including: • New Plug/HT leads/Distributor Cap and Rotor • New Fuel Pumps and Filter. • Fuel pump relay, • New Battery (4 weeks ago), • 4x New Fuel injectors/plugs/leads/rotor...
November 22, 2020 - United States / Convertible
Spotted on Ebay USA in Nov 2020 - we've seen this particular car up for grabs several times before over the last 5 years. Modified with a 350 LT1 V8, the car has been painted balck (we suspect it may have originally been red..). Quite a few exterior modifications, but overall it looks like a solid car which, if desired could be brought back to original spec with lmited work.
November 11, 2020 - Australia / Leyland
This poor thing has suffered serious neglect and unfortunetely. Originally a 998cc Mini LS - the high end model of 77, with special features like foglights, alloy wheels, decals, vinyl roof and nice trim. It's obviously seen better days. Advertised in late 2020 asking $2,500 AUD. See the other LS minis on the register below
November 10, 2020 - New Zealand / Ford
This NZ built Galant hardtop was spotted on Trademe.co.nz in Novenber 2020, asking $10,000. Looks in reasonable condition, and has a 4G63, 2 litre motor fitted, which is all certified and ready to go. Lots of work done to the car including new raditor, new rocket cover gasket, new exhaust maniford gasket, new spark plug leads, oil change, new rear shock absorbers and a new battery. There is apparently a bit of rust, but at just $10,000, it's not going to be a show car. Check out the other...
November 10, 2020 - Australia / Ford
Spotted on ebay.com.au in November 2020, this claims to be a genuine XD ESP, and the seller at the time noted that it comes with a verification letter, so presumably this is a genuine car. A 6-cylinder mode, it's obviously not the highly desirable 351 V8, but nonetheless a very rare car with an estrimate of 300-500 built. At the time it was advertised, this example was asking a buy it now price of $32,900 - quite steep, and it's been online for over a month at the point we added it. Check out...
November 6, 2020 - New Zealand / Honda
Another gem spotted for sale on trademe.co.nz. This one was found advertised in November 2020, asking $18,500 NZD. The EK9 is the most sought after of the Type Rs, being the one that started it all back in the 1990s - and encouraged Honda's naturally aspirated high revving non-turbo endevours that would follow for the next 10 years. This example appears to be in good condition, with a bit of a tidy up needed. It has a few modifications, including an afterarket body kit, and many other small...
November 5, 2020 - New Zealand / Mitsubishi
This Mirage Cyborg was advertised in NZ in late 2020, and is a Japanese import (being the highest specification JDM model in the third gen Mirage range at the time). The Cyborg had a 1.6l turbocharged engine, and producing 107kw - quite impressive for the late 1980s. The car was eventually superceded by the ZR Cyborg.
November 4, 2020 - Australia / Ssangyong
Got a few Australian delivered Chairmans on the register now, and this one is another example that's got fairly low Ks. The Ssangyong chairmans I suppose mostly sold to mature drivers, and therefore didnt clock up much mileage, even in Aus.. Havent seen so many in white, and this one looks extremely well kept. The seller was asking $13,500 at the time (late 2020), which i think is far too much. Unfortunately these cars have not held their value and there is a fairly small interest pool despite...
