Good to see such an original car - again spotted in NZ where quite a few were imported. The precurser to the Evo, and a very competent rally car, the Galant VR-4 is a real future classic straight out of Group A, and is one of the lesser known alternatives to the big names. This example was spotted on trademe.co.nz and we just had to add it to the register here - a beautifully kept original example with very low km for the age. Late model example of the GT Four, imported to NZ. These cars were banned from the WRC in 1995 due to an illegal turbo part being used. WHat could have been - perhaps would have seen the WRX and Evo out of business if earlier celica performance was anything to go by... Awesome cars, and very low production numbers globally. Very cool hardtop Corona advertised on trademe NZ, Not exactly sure of the series, so I have guessed the title, bu it's a 1973 model, with a heap of work done, and at the time it was advertised on Trademe NZ, was asking $30,000 NZD. Not many of these around any more.

Very nice Galkant GTO spotted on trademe NZ in May 2020! AT the time it was offered, the seller had quite a bit of information about the car and noted it was the 6th car imported from Japan by Todd Motors, and was used as a demonstration car by Molyneux Motors Alexandra, then owned by the garage owners wife, then to a elderly Roxburgh gentlemen. then into storage for aprox 12 years. When put back on the road again , the motor was reconditioned, brakes and steering joints done with original parts...

Very rarely do they come up, but at the moment there are two on gumtree Australia. This one, spotted in May 2020, was asking $25,000. Limited details were given in the advertisement, but the car looks to be in excellent condition, with its original SVO type wheels, great paint and low km for the car's age. Rare Daytona hardtop offered in May 2020 by Classic Auto Mall Inc. These guys have had a few interesting Studebakers recently, and they seem to be offering them at reasonable prices. This C126 was advertised on Ebay Australia in May 2020. High Ks but asking bit money with a $45,000 starting bid. A sign of things to come perhaps, as there's anoyther on Ebay Australia asking 60K. The 560 is relatively scarce in Australia, less so in the USA, but prices have really started going mad for old Mercs in Aus. This seems to be a very well looked after car, and a true modern classic.
